Who mooned whom?

DAMN! ANOTHER 'CLIPSE OF THE MOON;
didn' this thing just happen last June?
Ma nature displays
just one of the ways
She can put our frail world into ruin.

If you wanted a romantic chance
your future with HER to enhance,
that warn't quite the sight
that you wanted that night -
from full moon to none, did it dance.

Try sitting instead 'neath the bough,
with HER and a poem; that's how
Omar's prize did he win;
he said with a grin:
Tho' moonless, the night was a wow!

... will come

Opening my window - something for me?
productions enchanting, each one that I see.
do the stars' light
outshine the moonlight?
I peek every night, and it's free.

I let my thoughts join in the play,
and I direct the pageant my way.
Did you know it's me
lit on the marquee,
whom shall I represent today?

An archer, a bear, a star shower?
Ten twinklers that form up a flower?
Whatever, I'll shine
in the heavens divine,
though I still sit in my open tower.

The sky-splitting blue crackling lightning?
I can be horrific and frightening
hey, come watch me play
or better, I say
Come join in the fast-going night-ening.

The heaven sent cinema-sky
ends quickly, but I frown not, Why?
I've a lifetime ticket
to pay or to picket
To perform, or admire, or just sigh.

Test

Too much work, and no vacation,

Deserves at least a small libation.

So hail! my friends, and raise your glasses;

Work's the curse of the drinking classes.
